In honor of Halloween I decided to whip up a batch of sugar cookies using festive food coloring and sprinkles to make them extra special. I used this recipe for the dough, then divided it into four equal mounds and then added the food coloring. They turned out great and were beyond yummy! I can totally see myself using the same recipe and technique around Christmas for festive cookies for Santa.
The dough once it was divided but before putting them in the fridge to rest.
