Before the clock strikes midnight tonight and we begin another year I thought I would look back at 2016. This year was such a wonderful year filled with so much to be thankful for!
We started the year off with a fun afternoon of sledding on some friends property
Tice and I cheered the Broncos onto a Super Bowl Victory
Tice and I went to Laguna Beach for a work conference for him and loved the wonderful food and beautiful weather!
We dyed Easter eggs with our cousin
We headed to some fun charity events including a Derby Day event where we got to wear fun hats/fascinators
We celebrated Mother's Day with a fabulous brunch
I headed to Napa for a little girls getaway and enjoyed lots of wine and laughs
Headed up to Telluride for a girls trip to enjoy awesome food, gorgeous hikes, and great friends
We headed back to Telluride for Tice's birthday to attend the Telluride Bluegrass festival with friends and had a wonderful time until Tice got hit with a 24 hour bug that landed him in the hospital...
Tice played in a number of golf tournaments and ended up winning our club's member/member tournament for the second year in a row with his partner Ken!
I threw a gender reveal party for our friends, who found out they were having a girl!
Enjoyed countless playdates with friends
Celebrated Sawyer's birthday at a local fun park but getting wet in bummer boats
Celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary and Fourth of July at the club on July 3rd
Threw the kids a mermaid and pirate themed joint birthday party
Went up to our property to camp with friends and family- the view will never get old
Enjoyed having my birthday in town for a short visit
Headed to Vegas for a little adults only getaway and enjoyed every second!
I played in a couple of golf tournaments and my first 2 day golf tournament
Ate ice cream outside on hot summer nights
Picked peaches at a friend's property
We headed up to Aspen so Tice and some buddies could run in the Tough Mudder
Took a weekend getaway to Beaver Creak and took in the scenery on Color Sunday
Enjoyed the amenities of the hotel including kid sized robes and slippers- adorable!
Went on a field trip to the fire station with Sawyer's class
Took another field trip to the pumpkin patch
Celebrated Halloween like only us Tice's can do...Kinley was grapes
Sawyer was a fireman
Daddy was a creepy penguin...again... and I was a mermaid
Tice ran in his second and what he promises will be his last marathon, the Rim Rock Marathon over the Colorado National Monument
We celebrated my 32nd birthday with a beautiful dinner party thrown by my girlfriends
Got family pictures taken
We hosted Thanksgiving
Attended many different holiday parties
Enjoyed some snowy weather
Attended our annual Santa Brunch- Sawyer was loving it, Kinley wasn't so much
Opened our traditional Christmas PJ's before heading out to dinner on Christmas Eve
Celebrated Christmas with our family and were spoiled with gifts and time together
Thanks so much for following along this year! Hope you all had as blessed a year as we had. Can't wait to see what 2017 has in store for us- I have a feeling it will be our best year yet!
