Farewell, 2017!

The world as a whole seems to be looking forward to a new year as 2017 was one filled with some trying events but instead of focusing on the negative I wanted to focus on the positive and take a look back at a year that was filled with some very special memories for our family.

We hosted a Super Bowl party
Celebrated Valentine's Day

Took a road trip to San Diego with a potty training 2 year old and made a stop over in Vegas- Kinley's first time.  To say it was a lot to take in was an understatement.

In March we headed to Vegas again to enjoy some adult time with friends, take in some of the PAC 12 Basketball Tournament, see the Chainsmokers at XS Nightclub at the Wynn, and sit by the pool.

For Spring Break we took the kids on a whirlwind tour of Colorado.  We started in Telluride where the kids both skied for the first time and loved it and I got to experience Alpino Vino, the highest in elevation restaurant in North America.

After Telluride we headed to Glenwood Springs with some friends to spend the night in a hotel and then let the kids ride the train home for their first time.

With spring brought plenty of fun golf adventures.  I finally craved out time to go to Ladies Night each Tuesday which helped me with my game a ton!

We headed to plenty of Symphony Concerts for some fun date nights
Celebrated Easter with some beautiful weather and our Annual photoshoot with friends

Headed to a fun wine themed charity event with friends

We celebrated the Kentucky Derby in style!
Tice sent me on a super fun Mother's Day weekend girls trip in Beaver Creek!  We enjoyed lots of Rosè, yummy food, and the spa.

In May Sawyer participated in his first bike race and did great!

Sawyer graduated from Preschool and told everyone that he wants to be a Paleontologist when he grows up!

Tice took the kids to their very first baseball game and Sawyer caught a fly ball
We took some fun photos with Grandma Tammy

In June my mom and I went to NYC to visit my brother and had a wonderful time

Then as a family we headed up to Telluride for their Annual Bluegrass festival and had a wonderful time with friends.  We also celebrated Tice's 37th birthday while we were all there.

The following weekend I headed back up to Telluride the next weekend for a fun girls trip!

Then at the beginning of July we celebrated Fourth of July at our club with friends and family

We celebrated Sawyer's 5th and Kinley's 3rd birthdays at home with some fun themed parties

Then my mom and I took the kids over to Denver for a fun trip to Water World and Tiny Town

My mom and I took the kids with some friends to the fair for their first time and they loved it even though it was super hot!
Then we headed up to our property with a big group of friends and had a fantastic time camping even though it rained a ton while we were there!

In August the kids started a new school year

We gathered our friends and family to celebrate Tice being a financial advisor for 10 years and having owned his own company of 2 years in August!
Sawyer helped build a boat that won 1st Place at our club Labor Day celebration!
We closed out summer at our friends house on Labor Day with one last jump in the pool
The kids and I went with some friends to paddle board for the first time in early September while the weather was still beautiful
Headed to some fun, dressy charity events for good causes
Closed out the golf season and I got voted onto the Ladies Golf Board for next year...wish me luck
My brother Zach and my cousins came for a visit in October.  We had lots of fun and Sawyer loved building legos with Uncle Zach!

As an early birthday present we headed up to a ranch in the middle of no where for the best meal of our lives and that's really saying something.  20 courses later we were STUFFED!

We then started to celebrate Halloween with trips to the pumpkin patch and our annual Halloween Party!

The weekend following Halloween we celebrated my birthday with a fun Disco themed party
For Thanksgiving we headed to Oregon for a whirlwind trip- Tice visited clients and we took in some fun events including wine tasting and a football game.

Then we had family Christmas pictures taken under the most beautiful fall leaves.

Finally we celebrated the Christmas season with tons of fun activities- the parade of lights, a mother son date to the Nutcracker, and our annual Christmas Eve dinner at the club.

All in all a most wonderful year and we can't wait to see what adventures wait for us in 2018!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
XO,
Bailey
