One of my all time favorite cocktails when we go out is a lemon drop but they tend to have quite a bit of sugar, which isn't always good for my waistline so I developed a lighten up version some time ago that gives me all of the same flavor notes but is a ton less calories!
Lighten Up Lemon Drop:
Ingrediants:
2 oz Vodka
Sugar for rimming your glass
Soda Water
1/2 a fresh lemon
Ice
Step 1: Rim your cocktail glass with a cut section of your lemon and then dip it in the sugar.
Step 2: Fill your glass with ice
Step 3: Squeeze in your lemon, add vodka, and fill the rest of the glass to the top with the soda water.
