We arrived in Chicago on Friday afternoon and headed straight for a restaurant that had been featured on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives, Panozzo's on Michigan Ave. It was delicious! We then checked in to our hotel, the Hyatt Regency at McCormick Place. They were filming the next Transformers movie right outside the hotel so we got to stop and watch them film for a bit which was cool!
We then headed downtown to Legends, a blues bar/club for a couple beers before walking to the Bean. We had a great time taking pictures before heading downstairs for some more cocktails at this awesome outdoor restaurant.
On Saturday I shopped while Tice worked and then together we decided to have a progressive dinner. First we went to Epic for a seriously EPIC happy hour followed by RPM Italian. Both had expensive drinks but amazing food so we were really happy. Finally we ended our evening at a sport bar, watching the Broncos play. All in all it was a fabulous weekend and I am so glad that we had the chance to go!
