Home Update...DIY Shelves

Ever since we moved into our house over 3 years ago there have been some projects that I have always wanted to get done but weren't ever a huge priority.  One such project was to install some floating shelves above our master bathroom toilet.  After waiting all this time I finally decided to get the project crossed off of my list! I reused some wood that we had lying around from a previous project, had Tice cut it to the same length as the top of the toilet, stained it with some stain we already had, and then Tice went to Home Depot and picked up some brackets, screwed them into the wall and then screwed the brackets into the shelves.  For about $10 (each of the brackets were less then $3) we have a new show piece and organizational tool in our bathroom and I couldn't be happier.
Here is Tice measuring out the distance between the shelves while also making sure they would be level
The finish product!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
