TGIF & A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

This week the kids ended up catching something and I am hoping that I don't catch the same nasty bug because I have some FUN plans lined up for this weekend!  However before this nasty bug descended onto our home we had lots of fun.  The highlight was heading to the pumpkin patch for a field trip with Sawyer's school.  We had a wonderful time enjoying the perfect fall weather.

The pumpkin patch is also a kids dream world with tons of different areas for play including slides, a petting zoo, and lots of different little houses with different themes, like a Christmas House, a Beauty Salon, and many more.

As I mentioned above I have some super fun plans this weekend!  A group of my girlfriends and I are going wine tasting and then out to dinner on Saturday and then Sunday we are having a birthday brunch for one of my girlfriends so we can celebrate her birthday!  I am planning on wearing this dress on Saturday wine tasting and this top in lavender on Sunday to the brunch!  Hope you all have a great weekend!  Happy Friday!

TGIF & Life Recently

Happy Friday!  We made it to Friday and we have fun plans this weekend so I can't wait to get this weekend started!

Earlier this week when the weather wasn't rainy the kids enjoyed a backyard picnic.  The lunch menu featured popcorn and chicken nuggets!  Lunch of champions!

TGIF & Recent Happenings

Friday, it's so nice to see you again!  This week, like so many do, flew by but I'm so glad it's the weekend!  Last weekend, Tice was in a golf tournament after which we got to attend the banquet honoring the winners.  I love any reason to get dressed up and have a kid free night out so I was all over going.  Tice played with my girlfriend's husband so it was nice to have them there to hang out with.

Monday was Sawyer's first day of Pre-K.  He will be going three days a week instead of the two days he was going last year and we both couldn't be more excited!  One of his best friends is in his class this year and the two of them are so happy to be together!  

This week, Sawyer was also able to celebrate his birthday at school and requested green cupcakes.  I whipped these up for Wednesday and they were a big hit!

I know I say this all the time but it really seems like the past couple of weeks have FLOWN by!  My brother was in town for a week and then before that we had lots of fun dinners, meetings, and pools days!

I recently attended a JSL meeting to see if the organization would be a good fit.  I really enjoyed myself and had a fun evening with my girlfriend D.

Last Thursday night we had our monthly girls night and had a great time- like always!

We headed out for Mexican food with friends last week and our friend Kevin captured this priceless photo of Sawyer during dinner! 

Last Friday we headed out to dinner as a family to celebrate Tice and my brother's birthdays at our favorite Italian restaurant- here we were in the back of my parent's car (Tice met us there) just like when we were growing up!

Last Saturday we had friends over for dinner and I made the most amazing salad- so amazing we dove right in and I didn't get a picture.
