Since our first wedding anniversary was spent in the hospital because it was the day after Sawyer was born this year we decided to try and do something a bit more romantic. The date happened to land on a day that we were in the DR so our friends, Spencer and Leah offered to babysit so that we could go out to dinner just the two of us! We decided to eat at the only restaurant at the resort that didn't allow children and were treated like a king and queen by the staff!
Near the end of our meal we were treated to a song sung by the whole staff as well as a special cake!
As for my outfit, I decided to wear the dress that I wore to our rehearsal dinner. It was fun to bring in a bit of our wedding weekend events back into our anniversary.
