How I Spent...My 4th of July Weekend

Friday was our 4th wedding anniversary so we celebrated by spending a lot of the day together and then heading to the country club for their annual 4th of July celebration!  We started out the evening hanging by the pool and then headed upstairs for the buffet dinner where we chowed down on mac and cheese, mini corn dogs, burgers, and cornbread.  After the feast we headed downstairs to the bump and jumps for the kids and settled in for the fireworks over the golf course.  All of the kids managed to stay up for them and LOVED them.  Sawyer kept saying that they were so cool and they he loved them!  We headed home around 10.

Saturday my mom and I prepped some items for Sawyer's birthday party the next day before heading to the pool.  After the pool and nap time we stayed at  home and cooked up some brats and Asian slaw for dinner and had the most relaxing 4th of July on memory.

Then on Sunday we celebrated Sawyer's 3rd birthday at the pool!  I can't wait to share the photos later this week!  The weather was extremely cloudy and a bit cool but it ended up being perfect and because of the weather we had the pool to ourselves!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend!  This week I will be busy prepping for Kinley's first birthday party, attending our monthly girls night, shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary sale (early access starts the 9th!), and getting packed up for a late anniversary getaway next week.

Hope you all have a great week!
