I took Sawyer to the dentist yesterday for his very first visit! He did WONDERFUL! We actually took him to the pediatric dentist both Tice and I had went we were growing up.
We had talked to him a bit about the dentist in general and what he would be doing before actually going. things like the dentist was going to "count his teeth" and brush them really well for him. Out of the blue one day he was like..."I don't want the dentist counting my teeth!"
Slowly we built it up again and once we got there he was in great spirits and was excited to play in the chair and pick a toothbrush and toy at the end.
Tice thought he was going to have a meltdown but not a single meltdown in sight!
