Recent Purchases & Currently Craving

If you saw this post you know that I recently purchased a new Tory Burch handbag and let me just tell you, I am in LOVE.  It has tons of space, allowing me to use it not only as a purse but also as a diaper bag which is perfect for me because the less items I need to carry right now the better!  

I also recently picked up a couple of items that will transition perfectly into fall with me including this awesome necklace from Target.

I also stopped by Old Navy over the weekend and picked up this tee.  I don't have that many graphic tees so I thought this one was perfect to start my collect.  I also snagged this clutch which will be perfect for some upcoming events we have on the books.  I got it in this light gold color and know that it will go with tons of things!

On our way to Denver this week I plan on picking up a couple of items depending on fit at J. Crew Factory.  This sweatshirt in grey and this leather top are at the top the list but I am also loving this sweatshirt below.

I recently picked up a couple of items at Old Navy and these boyfriend jeans were one of the items.  I am in love!  They are light weight, distressed, and the perfect relaxed fit.  If you are looking for a pair of boyfriend jeans that will work perfectly right now but also transition into fall give these a try!  I also grabbed this new varsity top in red and I am in love!  The sleeves are a bit longer which I love!

We will be heading to Portland in a couple of weeks and you know what that means- I'm looking over my wish list and starting to narrow items down.  Here are a couple of things I would love to fill my closet with as we head into fall.

21 Weeks with Baby #2

Outfit Details:

How far along: 21 Weeks- Due date is 7/29/14

Gender: Girl!

Maternity clothes: Yes most of the time but some of my bigger jeans can still work with the hair tie trick and some shirts depending on length can as well.

Stretch marks: No new ones 

Belly button in or out: In

Sleep: Pretty good although because Tice has been staying up later lately he has been waking me up more often.

Best moment this week:  Celebrating St. Patrick's Day and going to our doctors appointment and seeing Baby Girl up on the ultrasound screen...that may be the last time we see any pictures of her until her arrival!

Worst moment this week: Being sore after a work out this week...super sore.  Although no matter how sore I was, I am very happy with myself that I am working out as much as I am still.  Last time I pretty much stopped working out all together at this point.  The working out must be helping because I have only gained 5 pounds so far in this pregnancy.

Miss anything: A green beer this week!

Movement: Yes more and more light movement everyday- still waiting for a big ol' kick!

Cravings: Fresh Fruit and sweet things

Queasy or sick: Feeling Great!

Looking forward to: A haircut!

Even though I mentioned that I had received a pair of Tory Burch Reva flats for my birthday I knew that some sort of discount code or sale would be right around the corner with all of the sales for the holidays coming up that I decided to wait until I saw a deal I just couldn't pass on.  That happened over the weekend when I noticed that as part of Nordstrom's half yearly sale they had quite a few of the classic Reva colors on sale!  I decided that because I don't really have a pair of black flats I should go with those and picked the ones with the gold hardware!  I can't wait for them to arrive!

Cobalt & Jewels

Tuesday my husband hosted a dinner for clients that I mentioned last week.  I acted as the event planner, making sure the menus got printed, helping select the menu items, arranging florals for all of the tables and finally showing up!  I decided to go with something classic with a bit of a modern edge.  I ended up wearing the dress that I wore to one of my baby showers, a cobalt blue number as well as one of my favorite J.Crew statement necklaces.

Current Obessions...Necklaces On My Fall Wish List

Although August just began I am already daydreaming about fall and it's cooler temps.   In honor of this urge I decided to put together a couple of wish lists for fall over the next couple of weeks.  

For this addition of my fall wish list I decided to focus on the outfit making statement necklace!  I haven't been wearing necklaces as much sent having Sawyer because of his love of pulling on them but I don't have to carry him around as much anymore so I know I will be purchasing a couple of these to top off some of my outfits this fall...now I just have to decide.
